Shrunken Calf is an extremely soft and comfortable leather that makes for a perfect watch strap. This leather has excellent water resistance, is resilient, and easy to maintain. The textured grain gives it a timeless look and will show minimal wear over time. It is for this reason that this leather is used by many luxury brands for their handbags.
All of our watch straps are entirely handmade one by one, utilising traditional leather crafting techniques. They are cut, saddle stitched and edge painted by hand to ensure that your strap lasts you a lifetime. All of our straps are lined with Zermatt leather, a hypoallergenic and water-resistant french calf leather.

Our Black Shrunken Calf Leather Strap comes with quick-release spring bars which allows you to easily install and remove the strap without the need of a tool.
316L Polished Stainless steel tang buckle
Each strap comes installed with a 316L stainless steel buckle which is engraved with our Artisan Straps logo. This buckle comes with drilled lug holes allowing for easy removal without damaging the strap.
Water-Resistant Zermatt french calfskin lining
In order to provide a luxurious feel, the straps are lined with Zermatt calfskin leather from Haas Tannery. This premium material is specially developed for use as a lining material and offers exceptional softness and comfort. It is also water- and sweat-resistant, making it ideal for use in hot and humid climates.
