Beautiful ostrich strap, extremely versatile appearing as deep navy in indoor lighting but in direct sunlight the unique ostrich leather pattern and a more vibrant blue pops adding interest to the strap. Artisan Straps as usual gets the details right with clean stitching, just the right amount of padding and customised lengths.
This strap is beautiful. It radiates quality from everywhere both in terms of material and craftmanship. It makes an unassuming (in terms of price at least) Baume & Mercier Clifton look a lot more expensive than it is.
I picked up a Dark Olive Horween Chromexcel padded leather strap from Artisan Straps for my Bulova 96B415 Jet Star, and I couldn’t be happier. I love the watch itself, but the stock bracelet is a bit too blingy and shiny for my taste. That’s where this Artisan strap comes in, it completely transforms the Jet Star, giving it a more toned-down, vintage-inspired look while still keeping things classy.
The leather quality is superb. It’s soft straight out of the box and honestly doesn’t need any break-in at all. The dark olive colour pairs perfectly with the Jet Star’s design and adds a subtle character that the original bracelet just doesn’t have.
If you want to elevate your Jet Star without the flash, this strap is an absolute winner.

Very disappointed. The colour is much darker than shown in the photos—it looks almost dark grey or black.
