The sizing is in the format as follows: (LUG WIDTH/BUCKLE WIDTH)

  • The lug width refers to the width of the strap at the lugs (where it connects to the watch).
  • The buckle width refers to the width of the strap at the buckle or clasp.

For the strap length:

  • Short: 105mm/70mm will suit a 145 mm - 167.5 mm wrist size. (5.7 - 6.7 inches)
  • Standard: 115mm/75mm will suit a 162.5mm - 182.5mm wrist size. (6.4 - 7.1 inches)
  • Long: 125mm/80mm will suit a 182.5 mm - 212.5 mm wrist size. (7.1 - 8.2 inches)

With our leather straps, we recommend avoiding prolonged contact with, and submerging the strap in water. While our leathers may have strong water resistance on the surface, water may seep through the core of the strap through the stitching holes.

Avoid contact with alcohol and solvents (think perfumes and colognes!) as this weakens the integrity of the edge finishing.

Great straps!

I bought two Minerva leather straps recently. Really pleased with the quality of leather and the workmanship. A huge step up from the big online stores. I was a little worried about how the quality of the buckles given previous reviews, but they are more than adequate. No sharp edges, well-polished finish, tidy etching of the Artisan Straps logo. There are some tooling marks on the inside surfaces but only noticable if you're really looking for them. Will buy again and have recommended Artisan Straps to others.
