After chatting with Artisan Straps to ensure proper fitment, I placed an order and patiently waited about three weeks for the band to come in. Mind you, I ordered a custom band from Cartier with a rose gold buckle totaling $1100 that was not the correct color (which they told me was discontinued after I paid) and waited three months! The alligator strap was soft, supple, and well made. I added on a rose gold buckle which was the perfect touch. I did have to fight with the strap a little to get one of the sides to fit but it eventually lost the battle. This strap is my daily wear now and I look forward to ordering different colors and styles! Maybe one day they will have the buckle option to add precious metal (18k) to the band.
It took a chance on my first third party strap after the JLC boutique did not have my size in stock. I could not be more impressed with the strap that I received from Artisan Straps. The quality and finish are exceptional. Free express shipping is a nice touch and the quick fit system works flawlessly.
The range of options offered by Artisan Straps far exceeds those offered by the watch brands and that’s without considering the custom options. Artisan Straps really lets you customise your timepiece. Now that I’m confident in the sizing I’ve already ordered another strap. The guys at Artisan Straps are doing great work.
