Our Buttero Hatch is a vegetable-tanned leather from Conceria Walpier in Italy, known for their fine leather finishing. Hatch leather has a diagonal cross-grained pattern (known as Hatch). This is an embossed pattern and showcases a beautiful two-tone look. Hatch leather is popular amongst shoe enthusiasts and commonly used by high end shoe and bootmakers. The hatch grain gives off a particular vintage look.

The Gold Standard for Leather Watch Straps

All of our watch straps are entirely handmade, utilising traditional leather crafting techniques. They are cut, saddle stitched and edge painted by hand to ensure your straps are durable and refined. All of our straps are lined with Zermatt leather, a hypoallergenic and water-resistant french calf leather. As all our leathers are full-grain leathers, the natural characteristics of the leather will show and may vary across straps.
