Our Swift Italian Calfskin comes from the tannery Pomari in Italy. Known as one of the most supple, yet durable leathers, Swift calfskin is very commonly used for small leather goods such as watch straps and card holders. This taupe swift calfskin is one of our all-time favourite colour and leather combinations as it gives off a very luxurious, yet casual, look. It truly is a perfect strap for silver, white and cream dial watches.

The sizing is in the format as follows: (LUG WIDTH/BUCKLE WIDTH)

• The lug width refers to the width of the strap at the lugs (where it connects to the watch).
• The buckle width refers to the width of the strap at the buckle or clasp.

For the strap length:

• Short: 105mm/70mm will suit a 145 mm - 167.5 mm wrist size. (5.7 - 6.7 inches)
• Standard: 115mm/75mm will suit a 162.5mm - 182.5mm wrist size. (6.4 - 7.1 inches)
• Long: 125mm/80mm will suit a 182.5 mm - 212.5 mm wrist size. (7.1 - 8.2 inches)

With our leather straps, we recommend avoiding any contact with water. This means to avoid showering, swimming or submerging the strap in water. While our leathers may have strong water resistance on the surface, water may seep through to the fibres of the strap through the stitching holes.

However, if your strap does get wet, we recommend allowing it to fully dry before applying a bees wax or mink oil based leather conditioner to replenish the lost oils. We also recommend applying a leather conditioner ever 6-12 months to prolong the lifespan of the strap.

Avoid contact with alcohol and solvents (think perfumes and colognes!) as this weakens the integrity of the edge finishing.
