I have recently purchased 2 Artisan straps for my Moonswatch and I was really impressed with the quality. I will definitely purchase again. Highly recommended!
The strap I received is more of a light earthy taupe with shades of ivory/bone. It is a bit porous and any rubbing or contact with skin, and even my leather storage bag, burnishes it, imparting interesting textural elements to the scales, highlighting the patterns on the leather. I did not have a watch in mind when I bought this. I wanted to see first-hand what premium quality alligator is like in an unusual colour so it was a very pleasant surprise when I put it on my Bausele Gallipoli commemorative. I love the way it complements and brings out the features of the watch without overpowering it.
As always - amazing craftsmanship by the team at Artisan Straps. All of my queries were handled very professionally and I cannot fault the communication, period. It was one of the best customer service experiences I've ever had - from asking question after questions, Jayson was able to answer all of it for me.
I'm going through a tough time in my life, yet these watch straps have brightened my day, each time a new one has arrived. I just have one final purchase for now - likely this Novonappa again but in black. That's how much I adore this particular strap!

And the quick release spring bars are a dream - I can go from a casual blue in the morning, to this brown strap for drinks with friends, to my dark navy ostrich strap for dinner. Changing the strap takes two minutes, max. I do not miss traditional spring bars!

I absolutely adore this strap. It is clearly such high quality - the leather is soft yet sturdy, the stitching is perfect, the buckle looks great and the length is exactly what I was after.
On top of all of that, the team at Artisan were a dream to communicate with. Every minute detail that I asked for wasn't a problem, and I wouldn't hesitate to say that it is one of the best levels of customer service I've ever had.
Can't wait to get another strap from Artisan, and there's every chance I'll get this ostrich leg strap again... perhaps in black, perhaps in multiple colours! An excellent alternative to alligator, for example. Really knocked it out of the park with this one.
